EXPORT DOCUMENTATION

The Milton Keynes and North Bucks can issue European Community Certificates of Origin, process Arab Certificates of Origin, authenticate signatures on international related documents and process embassy legalisation ie, Egypt, Turkey, Iran.

Why do we need Export Documentation:
Certificates of Origin are often required:

To meet customs requirements in the importing state

To meet ‘quota’ requirements imposed by the importing country

To comply with banking requirements

For other official and commercial reasons

Electronic Certificates of Origin:
Online application for both EC and Arab Certificates of Origin is now available through our e.cert/a.cert website. Follow this link to register and use e.cert/a.cert.

Once registered, exporters can complete online certificates and submit direct to the Chamber, together with supporting document (invoices, letter of credit). Documents are then checked, stamped and signed and returned by the chosen method (ie. post or collection).

To use the Chamber’s Export Documentation Service, exporters are required to complete a Formal Undertaking, and adhere to the Standard Rules. Copies of these documents can be downloaded at the bottom of the page.

Legalisation Service
The Chamber is also able to obtain embassy legalisation where required. ie. Iran, Turkey, Egypt on behalf of exporters.
