The Chamber represents the interests of business throughout Milton Keynes and North Buckinghamshire.
The Chamber is working on a number of key issues:

- Developing our future leaders and employees. The Chamber works closely through its Young Chamber Programme with schools,partners and agencies to promote and enable our young people to develop the skills and identify career opportunities through the engagement with local and national businesses
- Lobbying the Government and the EU through the British Chambers of Commerce;
- Identifying areas most at risk and the type of crime that is particularly relevant to business through a targeted survey;
- Working with Northamptonshire Chamber and Luton and Bedfordshire Chamber to explore ways of increasing the opportunities to do business locally. Major event planned for the autumn;
- Working as a consortium of 12 Chambers in the South East (SEECCI)
to increase business opportunities, represent the business to the Regional Development Agency SEEDA and develop the influence of business in this region.
- Formulating policy to cover 'Apprenticeship' schemes with partners such as MK Council, the Learning and Skills Council, MK Economy and Learning Partnership, other providers and businesses so we can supply from within our own area the employment needs now and in the future.
